Privacy Policy

Effective October 5, 2026

The short version: Distractodo collects nothing. There's no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server. Everything the app knows stays on your iPhone.

What the app stores, and where

To work, Distractodo keeps the following on your device, inside the app's own storage:

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. We have no way to see it.

Screen Time data

Distractodo blocks apps and measures time spent in them using Apple's Screen Time frameworks (Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity). These work in a privacy-preserving way:

Your Screen Time data never leaves your iPhone. You can revoke Distractodo's access at any time in the iOS Settings app, under Screen Time.

What we don't do

Backups

If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, the app's data is included in that backup like any other app's, under Apple's terms. We have no access to your backups.

Beta testing through TestFlight

If you test a beta version through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may share with us the information TestFlight collects, such as crash reports, the feedback and screenshots you choose to send, and the email address you were invited with. We use it only to fix problems and improve the app. TestFlight is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It's served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Deleting your data

Delete Distractodo from your iPhone and everything it stored is deleted with it.

Children

Distractodo isn't directed at children under 13. Since it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If we ever wanted to collect data, we'd ask you in the app first.
